Summer Stays at The University of Edinburgh
"The Arthur Seat Hill and Dr. Neil's Garden are nearby, you can take a leisure walk and beautiful pictures of Edingburgh. The hotel environment is clear and quiet."
Destiny Student - Holyrood (Brae House)
"We needed somewhere central to explore the fringe festival that didn't break the bank, this ticked all the boxes! The 24hr reception was a godsend, so we got there early doors & put our bags in reception for a fiver & didn't check in until midnight so that we didn't miss any planned shows having to come back & check in at 3pm. Student dig rooms so obviously not too spacious, but suited us fine, only complaint would be the heat, extremely warm in the room, but leaving the window open means you here the trains all night so not ideal.Fans were available to hire at reception though in case our become too much, which or didn't for us thankfully."
The Scholar
"Great location, nice apartment with good quality toiletries and mattress. The onsite parking is a plus. Walking distance to city centre. And the Abacus restaurant is a must try."
Destiny - Burnet Point
"It's basically student dormitories, newly built and very clean. Hair dryers, towels, and toiletries are available for borrowing. The location isn't in the city center, but it's not too far either. The staff at the front desk are very friendly. The rooms aren't very big, but they're just right for one person."
Britannia Edinburgh Hotel
Quiet riverside location; a 15-minute walk to Princes Street; 10 minutes to Haymarket Station.
Kick Ass Grassmarket (18+)
"The hotel is located in the Old Town, close to Edinburgh Castle, about 1 km from Edinburgh Waverley train station, a 20-minute walk. Breakfast consists of bread, ham, cheese, and fruit for £7. The hotel has three floors and no elevator."
Garner Hotel Edinburgh - Haymarket
"The hotel is considerably in front of the Haymarket Station but can be walkable to Princes Street and to all other tourist spots. Our room was small for the two of us but we cant complain as it was clean. It has TV, aircon/heater, towels, and you can ask for disposable toothbrush in the reception. We enjoyed their free coffee and tea during our stay. The staff were also nice."
New Town Hotel
"This hotel was gorgeous! Great location, easy to find, sparkling clean, beautiful, smelled great, lovely views out over Forth Firth. Absolutely perfect."
Destiny Student – Murano (Campus Accommodation)
"Great facilities and an affordable stay in a private student hall during the summer. However the left luggage service is not free like in hotels. This place feels like a hotel more than a hostel as I rarely met my other flatmates during my stay."

The Caledonian Edinburgh, Curio Collection by Hilton
"We had a great experience thanks to Yannick at reception. When we arrived, I felt that the room we were initially given was not quite what I expected based on the booking and photos. Yannick listened to our concerns professionally and kindly, and he quickly arranged an alternative room for us. The new room was even more spacious and made our stay much more enjoyable. His friendly attitude, excellent customer service, and willingness to help really stood out. Thank you, Yannick, for making us feel welcome and taking such good care of us."
